Dallas

Similar to Calgary and Brussels, Dallas is a city that you go to for work or family. Just 3 hours from Austin, Dallas is a good day trip City. Significant attractions include Jerry’s World, where JFK got shot and Perot Museum of Nature and Science. The other highlight is the Bush presidential Library. I hear there might be a book or two in it. My Pet Goat?
Finally, Dallas has arguably the best BBQ restaurant in the United States, Pecan Lodge, located in the trendy Deep Ellum neighborhood. If they run out of BBQ, just head on over to Terry Blacks.
